"The frame is not a boundary, but a physical site of intervention. By applying pigment directly to the celluloid, the image becomes a sculptural and spiritual record of gesture."

These hand-painted transparencies bypass the camera entirely. Each frame is a discrete painting, yet when scanned and digitally manipulated, they dissolve into a frenetic rhythm of light and color.

These works function as hybrid entities: as filmic moments meant for motion and texture, and as sculptural objects when mounted. The transparencies capture light as a physical presence.
